As harvest season is upon us, I just have to share my favorite inspiration for thanksgiving tablescapes this year. I can't wait for the day we have a place big enough to host family and friends! I dream of a big backyard, with lights and long tables. My Grammie's (mom's mom) favorite holiday has always been thanksgiving, one of my favorite traditions we do with my family - no matter how large the group (and I have almost 25 cousins on each side) we all go around and say what we are thankful for that year. We get some laughs, and sometimes tears - but it always brings the purpose and meaning back in of why we gathered together. Gratitude.
You got to excuse me for skipping over Halloween this year (this month has been a whirlwind with travel), but I'm going straight to Thanksgiving. I wanted to share some inspiration for your big ole' feast with your loved ones. Lots of simplicity with wild greens, and pinecones. With such cool wooden tables, no table cloth is even necessary - although I do love the above burlap table runner.
