I'm the worst! Two weeks now. I think the longest I have ever gone from the blog. It's funny once you get into a rut, it's easy to say, 'oh what's another day.' Yet tonight, I got a sweet comment on my instagram today, a little reminder to get back on the blogging wagon. And you know, it went a long way. Thank you for the loving motivation, really ;)
This weekend I was in work mode, on location around LA with the talented Joy Cho and her family. It's hard to call it work when stopping by the LACMA, Hollywood Farmer's market and other iconic LA spots that make me feel like a giddy tourist. I couldn't help myself and decided to jump in the noodle installation while at the museum. How cool are those noddles? (most likely incredibly dirty from everyone touching them! I still couldn't resist.)
Lucky for me, I got in some time with my Joel. We went and saw the movie 'Way Way Back.' with Steve Carroll. Have you seen it? I had no expectations going in, wasn't really overly excited to go see but then was surprisngly moved when watching. Sometimes those are the films that really get you, the ones you least expect. Walking out of the theater, I couldn't help but think about how impactful, the smallest gestures can be. Made me want to be a little better, a little kinder. A good note to end the weekend on.
Hope you all have a wonderful Monday!
