This girl came town and we got some serious wedding momentum going. (There really is no messing around when planning a wedding in 4 months) Our first stop, invite inspiration. Where else then my all time, Sugar Paper (aka my happy place) I have already over-blogged about this paperie here and here, but just can't help myself. I can only seldom stop by, because I legitimately want to buy it all...every last thing.
We then headed to Beverly Hills to pop into some bridal boutiques to get a feel of what Riley was feeling for dresses. I remember tearing out so many wedding dresses in magazines, thinking i knew the one, the look I was after. I was determined to be in lace with a sheath silhouette and ended up a complete different direction. I quickly realized that wedding dresses are tricky. What you think you want, doesn't always match what fits. So feeling a little intimidated walking in with the 10k designer price tags in Beverly Hills, we lifted our heads and put on our pretty women smiles and Riley went to work trying on. All I can say is that Elie Saab blew my mind, so stunning and so out of price range.
