Fall at the Flower Mart

I can't help but walk into the flower mart with a huge smile on my face. There is just something about seeing flowers go for yards and yards, that perks my spirit. Brooke (my floral expert) and I got to work looking for the perfect fall arrangement, this bunch was our inspiration

The picks (orange/yellow berries, red ranunculus, and pink dahlias)

I've only been to the mart in the spring (peony heaven) and then closer to September with Brooke for picking out my wedding flowers. October, brought on a whole new floral experience. I was in heaven with all the warm tones. I loved the two-toned pomegranates mixed with berry purples, orangish-red and a pop of pink. Also, I love in fall that we use a lot of non-floral objects in the arrangements, more fruit, berries, twigs, branches, giving the bunch more texture.

  4. I enjoy accompanying my sister and mother to the flower mart. One time, they made me work on a bouquet for my aunt. They let me choose which flowers to include there. I picked Phalaenopsis Orchids, Lisianthus, and Queen Annes Lace. It was perfect since Lisianthus describes an outgoing person, and my aunt loves to meet people and travel to places.
