Costa Rican Dream

Costa Rica was a dream land. My type of trip! A tropical, beach vacation with just the right amount of recreation, adventure and cultural experience. Turns out I'm an eco-tourist. A country that has something for everyone, great surf, plenty of hiking, rock climbing, river rafting, hot springs, horseback riding and the list goes on. The husbands wanted great surf breaks and the wives wanted yoga retreats, everyone went home happy. I've shared some photos of our trip, if you would like to see...

 Surfing in Tamarindo

Montezumas

Arenal Volcano - We stayed at the base in an observatory where the biologists stay to observe and listen to the rumblings of the active volcano

We found our yoga in the tree tops!

Fresh coconut milk was our drink of choice

Shell Beach (prettiest beach in Costa Rica)

Lola's for fresh poke after morning surf

My cousins are now living in Tamarindo for a year, and we got to stay with them the second half of the trip. Lucky ducks. I've always planned to live abroad with my husband (and future family), we really need to just pick up and go!

You were good to us Costa Rica, until next time! xo

Maybe you and Hubby (and future bubbies) could come live in Australia and you can glamify my life for me?! :)

and yes - if you want to move abroad you gotta just DO IT! There's no better time than the present! Maybe you could work at Bugaboo's headquarters in Amsterdam and then we can be real-life friends ;)

    1. Libby - Congrats on your marriage! Even though there is so much to do in CR, I feel like after the wedding all you want to do is just relax and take a breather from wedding prep, ha! Or at least that was me... Costa Rica, the perfect babymoon spot ;)
