I'm back in Los Angeles, after a wonderful time in the beautiful city of Toronto. If you haven't been up north, I definitely recommend getting a trip in and checking the city out. Toronto reminded me a lot of a toned down New York. It's said to be the most international city in the world, with so much diversity, it's a city with fantastic restaurants!
Guess? Inc. was the fashion sponsor for the International Film Festival, and so our events team held night club after party events, in-store events, as well as hosted the portrait studio/gifting suite for the festival. It was such a great experience, getting to see all the talent that came through the studio, everyone from the legendary Francis Ford Coppola to Brad Pitt, to Ryan Gosling, my personal fav Maggie Gyllenhaal. (I wasn't there for Madonna, which is such a bummer, but I heard she was a huge diva and made everyone leave the room that wasn't her entourage)
We were able to get take a breather, and see a film. We checked out the film "Butter" that is produced by Jennifer Garner. The cast included Olivia Wilde, Jennifer Garner, Alicia Silverstone, Ashley Greene and Hugh Jackman. I loved hearing them talk about the film and the characters they got into, made the experience of seeing a movie so much more personal even though I wasn't a huge fan of the film.
Two Thumbs up for Toronto, a city that I definitely would love to take Joel back to!
